Mothers Day

When we got home from our Idaho trip our anniversary and Mother's Day were the very next week. Matt and I went out to dinner for to celebrate and Matt got me a Dishwasher!  That's right we have been living here without a dishwasher...well with me as the dishwasher! Matt always did his share too.

This dishwasher is a portable one. It's on wheels and hooks up to the sink. L.O.V.E. IT!

Thanks Babe!

To Finish Off the Week

Westin and I were gone from Wednesday to Thursday. It was such a long trip and we were ready to go home. Especially after teething in the middle of the night, waking up 6 or 7 times. Thank goodness for Grandmas!

The rest of the week we met up with lots of people. We went out for a birthday lunch for Grandma Radean where Westin poured a full glass of ice water on him and didn't even let it bother him.

We met lots of Grandma Radeans friends. Westin was so good for all of it. He was only scared of one person, in his defense he was extra tired and was ready to go home. I think I was too.

a BIG thank you to Aunt Susan for hosting us the whole item and making such yummy food! Also, thank you Grandma Radean for inviting us and driving us all over the place!

How could I almost forget, when we were heading to the airport we stopped at Five Guys to eat dinner. Westin had been crying for about 20 mins but we didn't think anything of it. We knew he had pooped but figured he was ready to get out of his seat. We parked and got Westin out. He has done the largest poop I have ever seen! It was insane! I didn't even know where to begin to clean it up. Poor guy was covered from bum to foot! We got him all cleaned up and ready to eat! Once again he was a champ on the flight! He fell asleep as soon as we were landing so he wasn't happy to be woken up but sure was happy to see his Daddy!

Later On

Later that night after the animals ALL of Matt's cousins came over to have a yummy dinner and enjoy company. These are all of the Grand-kids that could make it. It was such a fun time and Westin loved to watch all the kids run around like crazies.

The next day out came the kitties again, not so many this time. So Precious, huh?

We got back in the car and headed to Logan. Luckily Westin took a short nap because he wasn't not excited about driving again.

The trip to Logan was to see Noah (Matt's cousin Heather's baby) get blessed. What a treat it was to witness such a sweet blessing!

After we tried to get one last photoshoot in of Emily & Westin. See how cute Westin was?

Actually most of the time we were watching WWF! Emily was so happy and excited and Westin was totally not interested. It usually works the other way around.

Luckily we got this...somehow.

Then We Played With the Bunny and Pony

Westin's next animal to meet was Sarah's bunny.

I don't think he liked it as much. Actually, he probably tried to grab it and Grandma pulled him back.

We had to take a break for lunch. We ALWAYS found time to eat.

Next up....the Pony! Again, Westin didn't like it. For some reason he hated the pony and being on her. It was probably because she stunk!

A little bit better with Mom by his side.

Megan tried to pull the Pony and get her to take a walk with her. She would pull so hard and she would just fall.

Next was a look at cows and horses.  Didn't Emily look so cute in her boots?

Grandma was always there for Westin. They got a lot of time together on this fun trip!

First We Played with the Kittys

While we visited Utah, Westin was able to meet a few new animal friends.
First was the kitten's. Now I don't like cats, at all. However, Kittens are fun and cute. Westin thought so too.

Westin wanted nothing more but to hold those kittens.

Emily on the other hand just wanted to pet them. She did not like when their claws would touch her.

Megan would hold, grab, throw and kiss those kittens all day long! She was scary with those babies!

I can't get over how sweet this picture is of Emily.

Next up was eating. Westin ate so much on this trip I had to slow him down when we got back. He was eating more bananas then I could eat.

I wish Westin had a cute smile in the picture below, this one would have been PERFECT!

This gentlemen is Daniel. One of Matt's cousins. He is currently attending BYU-Idaho, but come September he and his unit will be heading to Iraq (I believe). His orders were announced while we were there. Daniel and I got to know each other as we drove to Logan and back together. I learned all I wanted to know about farming.

You need to watch the WHOLE video. It is hilarious. Westin grabs a kitten, and Megan throws one and chokes one.

Save the kittens from Christi Pobst on Vimeo.

The Mom to these cats did. not. like. me. Seriously, she would stare at me like crazy anytime I went near the kittens.

Beginning of the Idaho Trip

Back at the end of April Westin took a week long vacation to Utah/Idaho. We had a blast but were ready to come home.

We flew into Utah on Wednesday morning. (Way too early but Westin was a champ on the flight, even if the guy next to me asked if he sleeps because he loves sleeping babies. I should have asked him if he sleeps because I love sleeping old men.)

Matt's friend Andre picked us up and drove us around for a while to see a few of the temples.

Next he took us to see my friends.
Andy

Taylor and Kaylee
We were at Kaylee's apartment and Westin would not sleep. I hate when he does that.

From there, we headed to my cousin Ruth's house for a VERY short time. Her kids, Tayson and Brennen, loved Westin. From the looks of it Westin wanted a taste of Tayson's cheek.

But seriously, check out Brennens hair!

Next we headed to the Speirs home. Lanora was very welcoming of us!

Westin even took her toys and proceeded to chew on them. Typical.

That night we went just girls to the BYU creamery. So delicious, but mine was HUGE and I couldn't finish it.

The next day Grandma RaDean (Matt's mom) and Aunt Allison (Matts sister) came up from Arizona with cousin Emily! Allison, Paula and I drove around Provo for a while, then we picked everyone up and did some more driving. The first few days of the trip there was A LOT of driving! Way more then I signed up for.

Westin & Emily

Westin, Emily & Lanora

One of our very last stops in Provo was Magelbe's (sp) Fresh. Westin enjoyed getting tastes of everyone's lunch.

Next we made the trip to Lagon to meet new cousin Noah.

Emily, LOVED to bounce Westin in his bouncer chair and she was singing to Noah in his. Hopefully she'll like her sister to be just as much!

I didn't realize how many good pictures I got of these two. They were both in heaven with a friend to play with.

I can't believe how big Westin looks next to Noah and how close he looks to Emily. When we took these pictures it was crazy to see how big he looks now.

We had dinner with Heather and Mike and headed up to Idaho Falls, like I said, way too much driving! On the way there it started to rain, then it was doing a snow, hail mix. pretty scary and luckily RaDean was not scared at all because I just about needed to pull over to go to the bathroom.

More of the trip to come.
