The Rest of the Time.

Camille gave her homecoming talk in church the Sunday she got back. She did a fabulous job and it was so great to be able to hear it.

Afterward, there was lots of yummy food and plenty of people to talk to. We looked through lots of wedding pictures of the Pobst family friend the Clonts. Their oldest daughter got married a few weeks before we were there.

On Monday Aaron had a baseball game we were able to go to but left in the middle of to head home. We have found that if we driving in the evening to midnight or so the drive is so much easier with Westin. He plays for about two hours then falls asleep.

Last minute pictures with Aunt Camille

Grandma Alice, This is Westin's Great Grandma.

Sometime over the weekend Matt & Grandpa took Westin out on the Canoe. He was not a big fan of it and was out for maybe 5 minutes.

Bair Reunion March 26

We had our Annual Bair Family Reunion. This s for my Dad's side starting with his parents. We had 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren (I think) Westin is a great grandchild. There are lots more that couldn't make it. We meet at a park in East Mesa and enjoy a BBQ and the playground.
Westin and Matt couldn't make it. I thought it would be mean to leave his Aunt so short after her getting home. It was her weekend.

Grace loves to be a Mom to her cousins.

All the eating, what is a family get together without the food?

Zach is my cousins son, so my second cousin maybe? He makes me laugh, constantly trying to do everything his Dad does. I hope Westin is like that!

There was some Frisbee throwing but mostly chatting. We had so much fun and hopefully everyone can make it next year.

Aunt Camille Came Home

In March Aunt Camille came home from his mission to Paris. Westin had only seen her when he was a couple weeks old. Luckily he has warmed right up to her.

Their were a lot of flight mishaps for them but the finally arrived to Phoenix late Friday night.

We waited around by security for a while. Westin did a lot of running and chasing.

We held up signs and I was getting very anxious. It's always so exciting to pick someone up at the airport, no matter how long they have been gone.

Westin held the sign for about 15 seconds, he was over it.

I think he was pointing out Grandpa Pobst.

Trying to figure out what my signs say.

We love our Aunt Camille and are so proud of her. She will be heading up to BYU Idaho in the fall so we hope to spend lots of time with her...in California.

Uncle Matthew Visits

Uncle Matthew and his friends came to visit (what did I tell you, Hotel)
Westin is more found of Male's then Female's so he instantly warmed up to Matthew. It of course helps that him and his friends wanted to play basketball with him.

We had 4 20 something year old guys in our house. They were the best house guest we have ever had. The house was actually clean when they left.

Westin and I headed to the beach with the boys after we had lunch down on Main Street.

It was such a fun short trip we hope Uncle Matthew can come back soon!

We had some visitors & the hotel starts

We had some fun visitors joins us. Grace, Stacy and a friend Carli. Grace and Carli are 5. It was very interesting to see them interact together.

All the cousins and friends enjoyed Popsicle together. When the little boys came out the door was closed to lock them out until they were down.

The day after they came we headed to Disneyland. Cane you believe those 5 year old girls could ride and they were brace enough to be in front! Check out their faces!

Grace always grabs her Mom's face for a picture.

After Space Mountain the first ride which we ran to my hair looked a mess. We headed over to Matterhorn. Another ride to add to the mess.

I guess Disneyland won't be anything with out small world...

We aren't sure if Grace liked it or not though.

Somewhere between Small World and this big boat we made our way to Toone Town. In Toone TOwn they have a bunch of places for the kids to run around, a house and a boat. Three girls ran in to the house together, Ashlynn, Grace, and Carli. We HAPPENED to see Ashlynn (3 year old) run out from another side. She had gotten seperated from the girls and came out to look for her Mom. I say we happened to see her because it was St. Patricks Day and there were a ton of people there. We then realized the other girls might not know where we were. I ran in to look for them and Stacy ran to the other side. I get to the top to look out and all I see are people wearing green. I was looking for Stacy, notice what color she is wearing...green. I couldn't see her anywhere. We found them and they didn't know they were lost.

Next up was the big boat. We talked the girls into going on the White Boat instead of the Pirate one and when we got on a lady asked me if we wanted to head to  the top and drive the boat! Of course I said! We hiked up to the 4th level and the girls got to steer and blow the horns and ring the bell. They loved it and were so happy they went with our recommendation. (Us too, we would have been there longer)

Classic.

On the way out I saw Belle, I rush Grace over there and told her to hug. I know how those princesses work, you have to throw your self at them if they are going to stop.

This is my favorite shot of they day. I love my Grace girl, I think we have a special bond.

Bolsa Chica Birds

Every once in a while Matt gets a strong urge to go see the birds at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands. I try to fight it all the time, but he loves it. It's only a f ew miles from our house so I guess going there and enjoying nature isn't so bad. I always complain about the smell and the temperature.
Matt jokes that I'm too hot if it is 76 degrees and too cold if it is 74. I guess I'm just a California girl now.

We usually go on Sunday's. It's never crowded but there are always a few people taking pictures of the birds or watching them through the binoculars.  I think its boring but I know some people love it.

Westin is only half good at holding our hands, but if we throw in the 1-2-3 WEEEEEE then he loves it. (That is the part I hate)

Its much nicer when Westin will get on his Dad's shoulders. We can get around much quicker. I think will be like his Dad, he loves it. It could be the combination of he can says birds and he loves to be outside.
