Bowling!

A couple weekends ago we all went bowling on Saturday night after they helped Matt and I move. Thank you to RaDean

We ahd to wait an hour for a lane to open up but it was well worth it! I don't even know if we tried to pay attention to who was winning. Stacy wasn't doing her best and I do know Alicia beat Scott on the first game!

This BIG chair was in the lounge that also had a bar and pool tables. Matt and Matthew stole a game from someone who had left most of their balls on the table!

Who knew I would miss him so much!

I did. Yep I miss my sweetheart! Matt has been in California since Sunday night. Sunday was pretty hard. I stayed in my room pretty much for the whole day and I couldn't wait for him to call. I have been staying pretty busy with school and work but its not the same. We went from being at each others side everyday to not even being able to talk on the phone all day. I will be ok though. He comes home next Thursday, I am counting down the days!

Matt's Job -- Matt loves his job! He has such a happy voice every time I talk to him. He does have an easy life right now. He is at the beach while I write this! I can't wait to move to the ocean!

This is my new roommate! She is so fun! Aways entertaining and is quiet at night! It's great!

Christi's First Suns Game

So Friday night we head down to Phoenix with Chad and Stacy to see the Suns take on the Jazz. We have to buy tickets on the street. While looking for tickets we see a little FSN booth with Tom Chambers being broadcast. He is the Bair family's long lost cousin. So Christi and Stacy hang around to talk to their kin while Chad and I get the tickets.

We get the tickets for just over double face value. Some street hagglers we turned out to be. So we get in the game and go to our seats. Watch the game and it is great fun until the end when the Suns first loose the lead then loose the game.

On the way home we decide to stop at Applebee's to cash in on half price appetizers. Christi and Stacy break off to go to the bathroom. I feel it appropriate to mention that whenever they are together unsupervised I always fear the worse. They come back laughing their heads off. After a few minutes of trying to get out of them what happened I find out that there was a locked stall that they thought was unoccupied. At first Christi was going to try and crawl under the door, but apparently crawl space was limited. Next, they had the great idea of Christi climbing over door and dropping in (no Pun intended). So they came back laughing hysterically, and I am somewhat convinced that in the end they didn't even go to the bathroom because they were having too much fun, got distracted, and forgot they had too pee.

So, unfortunately for you reader and me the typer, the story doesn't end there. We then pick up Grace, who, since it is about 11:00 and was just awoken, is a zombie and take her to get McDonald's ice cream. Well, the first McDonald's said they didn't have any ice cream. Then the second place told us the McD's stops serving ice cream at 11:00. To that Chad screams, "What kind of sick McDonald's joke is this." So we head back to the Thompson's residence and spot a Tastee Freeze. We go there and get the most amazing chocolate dipped cones ever. At least I did, everyone else got these lame boring vanilla cones and even grace scored a little freebie trial size cone.

The O.C.

Matt accepted a new job offer and we will be moving to Orange County. Matt will leave to start work on March 17 and I will be staying here to finish out my semester then go over there around May 10. We are really excited and especially Matt because he will love what he will be doing. We are excited for our new ADVENTURE!!

Matt and I went to Nordstroms rack Saturday after the golf tournament down in Tucson. I was just browsing around the clearance stuff and I noticed this old china man looking at dresses and jeans. I also noticed he was putting the dresses in the middle of the circle rack, I totally thought this was weird. I kept watching him and then he was tying the backs of the dresses so I just figured whatever. THEN I noticed he was doing something with the tags, he was SWITCHING the tags! I went to find Matt and told him so he could see and tell me if I was just seeing things. Matt sat by the man starring at him for a few minutes, not taking his eye off him once. He confirmed the man being a THIEF! So we decided to go tell someone what he was doing. Then he ended up getting in line right after us and I told the cashier what the guy had done. We paid and Matt left to get the car but I wanted to hang around to see what they were going to do. I couldn't stay around long enough, but they did take the dresses back to the back to "compare" the prices for sure. After we left I just couldn't believe this old man would be doing this! How dishonest are people!

Snow.....

So I haven't ever really been in the snow. I have gone up to Utah a few times here and there when I was younger, but I never remembered it being so cold and so much ice! I slipped a couple of times but that was on the way to church in my heels and going to the sealing. My poor mother-in-law actually fell but she jumped right up and was just fine! As we talked about earlier we stayed in a Motel 6 in Bountiful (or close to it)

Isn't this girl just a doll! She was so fun to hold, she always wanted to fall asleep in your arms. So I am trying to learn how to take good pictures and I decided to try a little bit on baby Emily. What do you think of my skills?

This last weekend we headed up to Utah for a Sealing, Skiing, and a Blessing.

Thursday night we flew in and at was freezing. We stayed in a teancy Hotel 6 in Bountiful. We had the heater blazing. Friday morning was the sealing (more pics to follow). We met Matt's cousin's fiance Larissa. That night we stayed in Provo with James and Paula Speirs.

Saturday was the skiing. Matt and Justin went up to Brighton to meet up with Justin's parents. They spent a half day up there and headed home for lunch at Tucano's. Well, Justin had to go to work but everyone else went to Tucanos.

Sunday was the blessing. Emily's dress is too cute. It is big enough, or long enough, to fit a six-year old.

Grandma's Funeral

All the family was there. Everyone of Grandmas grandchildren came for the funeral. It was so fun to see them all.

Trying to post.

So I keep trying to post but I honestly don't have the time. When I just got on, it won't let me upload my pictures!!! GRRR!!! So all that has happened is this past week I have worked close to 50, maybe even more hours. On Monday I start at ASU!! I am pretty excited about it but nervous since I am taking 17 credits plus working too much! That is basically about it.

Hopefully I can get it to upload my pictures!
