First Visit ...

We took Westin for his First Visit to Disneyland! He LOVED it! He was such a trooper and hardly cried all day, just to let us know he was hungry or sleepy. He lasted a whole 12 hours there. He slept so well in his stroller. Matt got this pin for him so now he will always remember going to Disneyland!

This is Jacob and Rachel. Jacob is Matts friend since they were babies. Jacob is the one who got us in and we are so glad he invited us. It was such a fun trip.

This was the whole crew, minus Birdie who is taking the picture and Jesse who I guess walked off. There were 12 adults and 6 kids 3 and under.

These 3 babies are within 6 days of each other. Starting from the left is Me, Westin, Jenny, Macy, Allie, and Zac. Can you tell there were 2 different cameras and what a bad angle of myself. I believe Westin was the biggest by weight at the time and at birth. Correct me if I'm wrong.

We really had so much fun. We were so lucky Matt was able to get off work and Jacob invited us! Lets do it again!

2 Months

Westin turned 2 months on October 8th. We are a little bit behind but we have been having TONS of fun!
At his 2 month check up we did the normal shots and he was such a trooper. I think I did quite well too. He weighed in at 13lbs 15oz, 90% and he is 24ins. long, 70%.

Westin still loves his bouncer, swing, and taking a bath. He enjoys his carseat and sleeps really well in it. He likes to face out when you carry him. He smiles and is almost laughing. He talks to you when you talk to him. He is the happiest in the morning but he really is happy all day long. We started to swaddle him again and he falls right asleep. We also put a blanket next to his face because he snuggles right up to it. He loves his pacifier and is getting much better at keeping it in, thank goodness! The biggest news of all is he sleeps from 11pm-7am. He started this around 9 weeks and we are still going strong! The hardest part about Wesitn is how much he spits up. I am surprised he is gaining any weight, he spits up about 5 times after every feeding and sometimes he spits up all the way up until the next feeding.
We love Westin more and more everyday! We can't imagine live without him!

Another Cousin Visit

We enjoyed having Emily over for a few days! Westin was so excited to meet her! We did a few photoshoots...surprising, I know.

Matts parents and Aaron were here too. We didn't get pictures of them, I guess we were way more interested in the kids!

Westin was a very excited boy this morning. He apparently had a lot on his mind and thought he would express himself verbally.



We also took Westin to an Edison Chargers football game this week. The game went into double overtime.

Westin Smiles

Westin has been smiling for quite a while now but we were finally able to get a good video of it.

Last weekend we headed down South to Doheny Beach. We were attempting to camp out but the camp ground was full. We decided to hang out at the beach for a while anyway. I can't get over how much Westin enjoys being outside.

He fell right asleep so of course he needed to be snuggled up!

When we got home we ate our foil dinners and gave Westin a bath. It was probably just as well we didn't stay the night. Who knows how Westin would have handled the damp cold air out there.

A Walk with Mom and A Walk with Dad

Matt takes Westin out for walks in the morning, its their time and since Westin LOVES to be outside they have a blast!

Every Afternoon Westin and I take a walk. We don't go as far as his Dad takes him but we have fun. Seriously, taking Westin outide calms him right down. When he is in his stroller he loves to look around an enjoy the scenery. He doesn't even minda little sun in his eyes.

Most of all I LOVE to play and sleep in my swing.


I also love my Pacifier. It irritates my Mom when it falls out of my mouth after I just fell asleep.

Labor Day Weekend

As you know Westin was blessed on Labor Day Weekend but we did lots of other stuff too.

Westin turned 4 weeks old (He's now 5 weeks & 2 days)

We met one of our cousins, Logan! We missed Gracie though!

This was right after BYU won. Logan was a little upset so he felt he needed to do the choke hold on Westin.
Logan was getting excited about some play and Westin was getting pretty bored I guess.

Although Alicia never actually went to Oklahoma State and she DID go to BYU she says she was born an OU fan! Matt has been a BYU fan since he was there with his parents when he was a little baby!

Logan thought it was great but Westin wasn't too sure about someone taking his bath time from him.
Logan actually statred sucking on Westin's toe. Seriously. Westin thought it was pretty nasty.
I think Westin may be getting ready for a kick to the face right here.
We also spent time at the beach, and walked down to main street to eat at Kilarney's. We had such a FUN time with both our families and we can't wait to see them again!

Blessing Day

On September 6th we blessed Westin. Matt did an awesome job and it was such a wonderful day! I can't believe it's all over since we have been planning it since February. We planned it so far back because we wanted all our family to come, that's why we planned it for Labor Day weekend. We had such a blast with all our family and can't wait to see them again.
